How to Get a DM or Group DM Channel ID?

Follow these quick steps to find the Channel ID of your direct messages or group chats:

  1. Enable Developer Mode: Open Discord and go to User Settings > Advanced > Developer Mode and make sure it is switched ON.
  2. On Desktop or Web: Go to your Direct Messages list. Right-click on the specific friend's DM chat or Group DM chat in the left sidebar, then click 'Copy Channel ID'.
  3. On Mobile App: Swipe right to see your DM list. Long-press on the DM conversation or Group DM chat, tap the three dots in the corner or menu, and tap 'Copy Channel ID'.
  4. Resolve: Paste the copied ID into the box above and click resolve!
